*Mark Your Calendar! * Christmas Cookie Sale: December 14
Evans City Food Cupboard: December 14, 10:00
Christmas Caroling: December 15, 4:00 PM
Key of Hope Concert: December 18, 7:00 PM
Christmas Music Celebration: December 22, 11:00 AM
Christmas Eve Service: December 24, 7:30 PM
* Christmas Caroling: * Spread the joy of the season with us as we go
caroling to homebound friends. We'll meet at the church on Sunday December
15 at 4:00, and stop for pizza along the way.
*Poinsettias:* Order a poinsettia in memory or in honor of a loved one for
$8 each. They will decorate the sanctuary for Christmas Eve; you may then
take them home to enjoy.
*Christmas Cookie Sale:* Sign up in the lobby if you'd like to bake cookies
(no more than 8 dozen of one kind, please), or if you'd like to place an
order (4 dozen tray for $20 or a 2 dozen box for $10). We'll be assembling
the trays at 8:30 on Saturday December 14, and they will be available
Saturday 10:00-11:00 and Sunday the 15th, after church until 1:00.
*Christmas Card Exchange:* Drop off your cards in the lobby from now until
December 15. Please bundle your cards in alphabetical order, and only
include people who regularly attend worship. Unclaimed cards will be
recycled after Christmas.
* Lighthouse Christmas Toy Shoppe:
<https://www.thelighthousepa.org/toy-shoppe> * This Sunday is the deadline
to drop of new, unwrapped toys, clothing, and gift cards for children, ages
0-16. You donation enables local families in need to "shop" for their
children.
There are still three spots available for the team that will help the Evans
City Food Cupboard prepare for their holiday food distribution. We'll meet
at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church <http://stpeterslutheranevanscity.org/>
in Evans City on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 AM
*Key of* *Hope*: Invite your friends to a special concert by a South
African children's choir, when they will come to Old Union Church as part
of their US tour. The concert will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at
7:00. *Please speak with Peter if you'd like to help set up for the
concert on Wednesday late afternoon.*
*Christmas Party:* Join the fun after worship on December 22! If you are
able, please bring a dish to share (maybe a family holiday favorite) and a
wrapped gift ($5 limit) for the exchange game.
