This Sunday, in honor of the Labor Day weekend, we invite you to "worship
as you work." Wear your work clothes to church, whether it's the uniform
or outfit you wear to work, your school clothes if you're a student, or
what you wear when you're doing chores. This will help us express our
appreciation to the Lord for the many ways in which he blesses us with the
ability to be active in His plan for the world.
This will be our last Sunday for 10:00 worship. Beginning September 10,
Sundays at Old Union will begin with Sunday School at 9:45 and worship at
11:00. If the weather cooperates, we will worship in the pavilion. But if
it's wet or too chilly, we'll be in the sanctuary.
Also, this week the paving company has been preparing the parking lot for
their work in a couple weeks. As you enter the parking lot, be careful to
avoid the drains which have been exposed. They should be well marked.
