Here are two examples of how Old Union Church has reached out recently to
"encourage and build up:"
1. On Wednesday I had to rent a box truck to deliver all the donated items
for PRISM's <http://www.prismpgh.org/> Garage Giveaway on Saturday to
welcome arriving international students as they settle into their new
homes. See the attached photos. The folks at PRISM were thrilled to
receive all our items because donations were a bit light this year.
2. A week ago Adelia Resendez moved into one of the homes we worked on
during last month's mission trip to Texas to assist with the rebuilding
work following Hurricane Harvey. Our work was coordinated by the Coastal
Bend Disaster Recovery Group <https://www.facebook.com/CBDRG/>, in
cooperation with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance <http://pda.pcusa.org/>.
