Carol McDonald will join us again next weekend as we continue to chart a
future for Old Union Church, based on what we learned during the sabbatical.
We'll have a gathering on Saturday morning, 9:00-12:00, when Carol will
guide us in thinking about how we do things as a church, and how we can do
things differently in the future. I hope you can join us, especially if
you are a church officer.
To prepare for Saturday, Carol has asked that everyone to name what they do
in the church, even (especially?) things that no one knows about. She has
asked us to do so in six categories:
- Worship & Music
- Education & Spiritual Growth
- Mission & Outreach
- Generosity/Fundraising/Stewardship
- Property & Financial Management
- Hospitality & Fellowship
If you have not had the chance to write down what you do on the big sheets
of paper in the fellowship hall, please email them to me and I'll post
them, so we have them for Saturday.
