I would use a picture,e or "4 pictures/one word" activity with questions that
get progressively more challenging.

¿Te gustan las películas con violencia?
¿Puedes describir una película o videojuego que te gusta?
¿Es buena o mala la violencia? ¿Por qué?
Es la violencia un problema en nuestra sociedad? Explica tu respuesta.

Subject: [ola] How to follow up a good conversation in class?

Today my classes were very involved in talking about the issue of whether
violence in movies/videogames is a problem or not. It was something that came
up closer to the end of class... What are your favorite ways to follow up when
a good conversation happens? Simply re-open the discussion tomorrow? I don't
want to simply repeat, but follow up and extend.
Mil gracias,
Emily
