Buenas tardes! At this point, I personally, do not have any docs to share. I am plotting and planning my first parent letter now. I plan to do a 2 sided copy, one in English and the other side in Spanish simply because of the population I work with. This last year abour 35% of my students were hispanic with parents who didn't necessarily read English. I want to be as transparent for all of my parents as I can be. We have many languages represented at our school which is really neat but it can make things a challenge. As I finish my parent letter, I will share if you are still interested. I will most likely have it done next week. There is an article in the ACTFL magazine that might help. I will see if I can send it to you. Hasta luego! If you have any of the following, PLEASE pass them along to me. 1. What to expect from students throughout the school year ("Course Expectations"?) 2. A breakdown of how their end of year grade will be calculated 3. A letter to parents about the OWL method (I know Dawn had one and Ruth, I heard Parker has one?) 4. Any administrative documents that you have provided or considered providing in the past 5. Do you generally give these types of documents in English or L2? THANK YOU in advance! :) Heidi ________________________________ The contents of this e-mail and any attachments are the property of the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School and subject to the Public Records Law, M.G.L. c. 66, § 10. ________________________________ Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion or national origin.
