9:30 Stabilizing with Cactus Juice
Ray demonstrates how to create your own vacuum chamber for stabilizing wood,
bone, horn, pine cones and other porous items using inexpensive tools, parts,
and a pickle jar!

1:00 Working with Alumilite Resin
Ray demonstrates how to increase our turning productivity by incorporating the
use of resin. How to make casting molds using PVC pipe and other plastic
materials, casting hybrid blanks, avoiding "newbie" problems as well as resin
dying and curing process.
3.00pm Label creations for bowl marking
Ray demonstrates his method for identifying and marking his bowls using an
ingenious method of creating a "seal" for the bottom which shows who made it
and what materials were used.
