Hey Garet, this is Mike Cotton (vari-grind guy). I have quite a variety stock
piled in my back yard. You’re more than welcome to come by, take a look and cut
off what you need for free.
Little late (or early for you) to check now but I know for sure that diameter
is available in American Walnut, White Oak (massive!), Chinese Elm, Ash, Red
Cedar, Maple, Maple Burl, Cherry. All in log form, sealed. Plenty of nice
crotch pieces and other interesting figure. Apple may be close to the size
you’re looking for but unsure. Also have Black walnut but don’t think it’s that
large... several other types as well but again unsure on diameter. More than
welcome to use my chain/bandsaw/Anchorseal to process the blanks here. I work
from home on Wednesdays so I’ll be home all day if you wanna stop by send me a
