I do not know if we will be signing, but I have expressed my concern about the
face validity of current definitions OSSC uses for Guided Pathways EMM metrics.
I have provided strong data to support my concern that the variability of the
proportion CTE majors can artificially inflate or deflate performance on most
all the metrics by not allowing successful completion of dev ed credits.
Last year in this same report to OPC ... Rogue was reported as not improving
even though we had a 15% increase in CTE majors. That increase of 15% means
that 15% more of our cohort would not be included in the numerator of most of
the metrics reported. This then impacts the trend lines.
I am hoping that the definitions change, especially in light of the FRO Career
Pathways push.
