Just to add to the good 2015 spring survival rate documentation... here
near Grand Ronde, southwest Yamhill County, our farm's usual fall and
winter population of about 25 California Quail has been 55 plus this
year. The quail were bringing out new chicks all spring and summer.
Pretty amazing. I am going through a lot of seed...
