[obol] shorebirds and horned larks near Baskett Slough

Hi birders,

Recently there has been a flooded field to the west of Hwy 99w that has had
some fairly large flocks of shorebirds.  Hundreds of dunlin, some
long-billed dowitchers, and one day there were over 20 Greater Yellowlegs.
It is hit or miss if the shorebirds are there, but I've seen them there
twice now in the last week.

And then almost right across the highway, today there were at least 8
Horned Larks, which is the most I've seen in the general area for a while.
They were spread out, and calling.  With so many reports of longspurs, this
might be a good spot to look for longspurs too.

A spotting scope could be useful at both spots, but if you happen to be
driving down Hwy 99w or visiting Baskett Slough, I think it is worth
keeping these spots in mind.
