Darrel,
I haven't read much about Shiny Cowbirds in recent years. I think that the
widespread expansion into the southeastern U.S. that predicted has by snd large
failed to materialize. Sounds like this species has become pretty well
established in south Florida.

The third edition of the National Geographic guide (1999). listed Shiny Cowbird

time, or have its extralimital wanderings pretty much stablilized? Just
wondering.
