Hummingbird silence. I normally have three male Anna's and half a dozen
selasphorus around our place. Last two days: 1 selasphorus male. My
neighbor reports slightly higher numbers, but less than half her normal.
Her mother in Roseburg reports none after going through quarts of nectar a
week. I'm used to having the females disappear during nesting. I'm not used
to be ing ghosted by hummers. Any idea? Just outside Coquille
