There is little noise from the 30,000 or so people in McMinnville so now
the flickers' drumming and calling and the squabbling of the jays dominate
the soundscape. Jays are clearly being aggressive in the real estate
market as they vie for best locations for nesting. Nobody escapes their
censure.
