At 10 am Wed 1/20 there was a light-phase Rough-legged Hawk along the Campus
Way bike path. It was sitting on the east fence of the Llama pens. I have never
seen one around there/Bald Hill before. But while I was taking things in
(plenty of Meadowlarks in the llama pastures, some singing) a dark phase
Rough-leg flew south at high elevation further to the west, but still east of
53rd Street.
There were 16 Dusky Canada Geese and 1 Cackiling Goose in the field just
