I have read with interest your continuing conversations about emargination
in Thrushes.
As a part-time (err, mostly amateur) botanist in the old days, I knew of
emargination at the end of leaves in some plants. But now your conversation
has explained emargination in flight feathers, and it looks like it is
pretty much the same thing in those birds. Thanks for your elucidations,
all three of you.
