I drove the beach from Sunset Access to the South Jetty being
especially attentive to the high wrack line between parking lot B
and the #5 pole at Rilea. There were lots of people on the beach
including kite surfers near the point provided on eBird (which
is different than the point on iNaturalist).
No Wilson's Plovers.
4 Black-bellied Plover
14 Whimbrel
120 Sanderlings
4 Red-necked Phalarope.
big northbound movement of California Gulls
I suspect the plover is already in Washington, maybe hanging with
the Snowies at Ledbetter.
I do not know whether the beach accesses are still closed on weekends.
