Dorothy,

Northern Gannet is a bird of the Atlantic Ocean.  I don’t know if there are
records from the Pacific Ocean.

There are none in the records of the Oregon Bird Records Committee.

How about a Gannet or immature Gannet?

I just got a text from Kevin Yates.  I had suggested he look at Frigatebirds.
He now says that is more like what he saw.

Somebody go find it.
