Vjera Thompson and I enjoyed a mostly rainless but quite windy day on the
Florence CBC today. Highlights included an Ancient Murrelet about twenty yards
away in the channel by the jetty, Bonaparte’s gulls, Hutton’s Vireo, a good
variety of other gulls and bay-birds and several good flocks of woodsy birds
(though we had to find the lee side of the woods).
We hear that other teams had a good day. Results should be out in a couple of
days.
