There was a Bonaparte's Gull at Road's End in Lincoln City this morning 8:00
am. On the beach just below the main parking lot. Got a good long look but
unfortunately no photo. Much smaller than other gulls nearby. Still in winter
plumage. White head and body, gray wings. Black spot behind black eye, small
black beak, orange/yellow legs, black wing edges. Flew off after about 5
minutes, going north alone along the beach.
