It seems safe to declare that TURKEY VULTURES have returned to the
mid-Willamette Valley now.
In addition to widespread reports of 1-2 vultures in recent days, Judith
& Jerry Paul had 11 roosting in their trees in the Crescent Valley /
Highland Dell area on the NW side of Corvallis on Wednesday evening.
A flock must have roosted above our place last evening (Thursday) too,
as this morning I saw seven rising out of the Douglas-firs on Tampico
Ridge (near E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area).
