100 Cackling Geese just flew over Cooper Mountain SW of Beaverton. We are on
the cusp of the typical arrival date, usually right around the 25th of
September.

the neighborhood at low altitude. Hearing them again really makes it feel
like fall.
On Monday, I was pretty sure I heard a Yellow-rumped Warbler calling a few
houses down the street, though I wasn't close enough to be certain.
