Hi Linda,     This appears to my eyes like a Sharp-shinned Hawk, for all of the
reasons you gave----mainly stick legs and lots of streaking on the front. Size
perspective is always difficult, and I sometimes make terrible mistakes.
Sometimes a gyrfalcon will look just like a merlin, when a frame of reference
is lacking. Anyway, you've got my two cents worth. Best regards, Dick Musser (4
mi. NW of Vale)

What appeared to me to be an obvious large Cooper's hawk this morning
morphed, in my photos, into a Sharpie. Help, please!
