On Tuesday I went to Powell Butte to see the MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRD and also
found a SAY'S PHOEBE in the same area, off the Hawthorn Trail near where it
intersects with the Summit Trail.
Then today I saw the previously reported BLACK PHOEBE on Oak Island Rd on
Sauvie Island. It was about 1.5 miles down the road near where there are
remaining pilings from where a large barn was blown down a few years ago.
It was singing what is labeled on the Sibley app as it's dawn song (though
it was 930am).
