Subject: [obol] a flock of Amer. Goldfinches arrived
I recently mentioned the unusual absence of American Goldfinches in my
northeast Portland neighborhood. Today there was a flock of about 30 in a Sweet
Gum tree there. That is still a very small percentage of the usual numbers that
I would see and hear on a walk in the neighborhood. I will look with interest
for more in the coming weeks.
