I saw one on the Coquille CBC last January. I expect it to be the only one l'll
see in an Oregon CBC. Tim Rodenkirk saw one on the Coos CBC within the past 4-5
years, also his first on a CBC but he has seen them while scouting in the week
before. I devoted at least an hour to trying to find one of these on count day.
Then at the countdown Tim said,"You can never relocate winter Black-throated
Grays". I'll bet there's always a few on the coast that time of year, but even
fewer birders willing to endure the tedium of sifting through every
Black-capped Chickadee flock.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone
