- Comments: "With a flock of 7 RECR [Red Crossbills] - we watched them
land at the top of a relatively small Sitka spruce tree, and could
clearly see bold white wingbars on what appeared to be a female or
juvenile bird (yellowish-olive colored, with some streaking on the
breast and bold white wing bars). We tried to take a photo but the
birds flew before we were able to take a shot."
