Wayne was a very knowledgable birder and did he get around! He even made it
down to Coos Bay for the Shorebird Festival (at least once) and could
seemingly show up anywhere in the state although he was from BC. I only
birded with him once but can still remember him well.
He liked to occasionally post on OBOL and I enjoyed his commentaries. Happy
trails Wayne!

Oregon is about BC birds.
It’s always a drag to lose an old friend in the birding community.
