While walking around our Witham Hill complex this evening, I came across a
dozen or more Audubon's-type Yellow-rumped Warblers and at least one
Orange-crowned Warbler (my FOY) foraging high in the tree tops near our
apartment. These are obviously new arrivals; so far this winter, the
(surprisingly few) Yellow-rumps in our neighborhood have been almost
exclusively of the Myrtle persuasion.
Nice to see things are starting to move ...
