Tonight I counted 3668 swifts going into Agate Hall's chimney. Another 2 were
eaten by a Cooper's Hawk. The hawk did not come back after eating the 2
swifts, which both made premature attempts to enter the chimney. The mass
entrance started around 12-13 minutes after sunset, was done without
interruption by the hawk, and was a wonderful thing to watch.
