At 5:35PM today about 300 VAUX'S SWIFTS were circling the chimney at the
Chapman School in NW Portland.
Earlier today it was nice to see PURPLE MARTINS back at Sauvie Island. And
a public thanks to whoever put up new nest boxes on the pilings in the
channel; the old ones were in pretty sad shape.
