Checked out Mt Angel Abbey Post Office chimney with 221 Vaux's Swifts coming in
for roosting between 8:15 and 8:31. Good-sized number for this early in the
migration...
A Western Tanager was in our backyard this morning. Otherwise, "typical
suspects" and nothing unusual. Still have good numbers of Rufous and Anna's
Hummingbirds. Going in Silverton, a lone Osprey keeps reappearing on Humpert
Lane SW of Abbey Hill -I speculate it's one of the young ones that hasn't
totally moved on yet.
