To be clear, this is not signalling an end to my birding days by any
means, and I am just downsizing.
I like to travel light these days, but my binoculars will never leave my
bag :)

Nikon P900, $400: Oh, my beloved birding camera. If you visit the wildlife
section of my website linked below, almost all of the pictures there were
taken on this wonderful camera. 83x optical zoom (a 24-2000mm equivalent),
16mp, VR, WiFi and NFC, with plenty of accessories (batteries, case, SD,
etc.) included. It's in decent condition; clean optics, everything works,
with slightly finicky but still functional autofocus. Looks like these go
around 800 new; if you find one brand new for less, I'll sell this for half
that price.
Vanguard Endeavor HD 82A scope - $250: I love this scope. It's crystal
clear at 20x and quite usable at 60x. Very nice optics for something so
portable. It has dual focus knobs, which is amazing for quick and accurate
focusing. It's missing the lens cap, eye cup, and case; I'm figuring out if
I can get those parts on warranty so that you'll get a like-new scope
(everything is in good condition, optics clear).
Vanguard Alta Pro 2 264AO Pan-head tripod - $100: Perfect condition.
Awesome scoping tripod; the panhead works perfectly for fine adjustments.
Goes well with the Endeavor scope above, since you don't need a shoe as the
scope fits right into the clamp. Fits standard 38mm tripod shoe, and I have
one that I can include.
Konus Konustar 100 scope with Vortex Pro GT tripod - $160 OBO. *Scope*:
My first scope; this guy's a tank but optically great for the price.
Amazing scope to start out with; 20-60x zoom. Missing eye cup, but I've
fashioned one from electrical tape and a bottle cap that worked like a
charm. Otherwise good condition, with clean and clear optics. *Tripod*:
I'm sending this one in to have one of the leg clamps fixed, after which it
will be 100% functional. Scratched up on the head, but still in good
working order. Meant to handle heavier optics, which is why it's perfect
for the Konus scope.
I can provide photos of everything upon request. I'm based in the
Corvallis area, and can meet anywhere within a reasonable distance or ship.
