Birders - This morning (12/3, 8:30 a.m.), on my return from a seed delivery from Cove, I birded my way through the Valley, looking for Blackbird and Horn Lark flocks. I found lots of Blackbirds, but nothing too exciting. However, I did find a lone AMERICAN PIPT along Woodruff Road, near the hot ditch between Godley and Hawkins Roads. We occasionally detect them on our annual CBC; however, they seem to be quite uncommon here in the winter. I also, relocated the first winter HARRIS'S SPARROW near Dave Bronson's feeders, off Wilkenson Road. Lastly, the RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER continues along Blackhawk Trail Lane. Good birding, - Trent The Bobolink - Linking Birders & Birds 1707 5th Street La Grande, OR 97850 (541) 963 - 2888 avitours@xxxxxxx OBOL archives: www.freelists.org/archive/obol Manage your account or unsubscribe: //www.freelists.org/list/obol Contact moderators: obol-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
