the first TREE SWALLOW of the season arrived in our Bethany area wetlands
today. I have kept records for the past 16 years and Feb 9 is the most common
first date. As is typical a few arrive first to be followed by more and more so
that by the end of the month I would estimate we have about 50 swooping over
our pond.
