We're in South Eugene, at about 650' elev. in mixed woods with an open
meadow-like back yard. This year we have from 2-5 Townsend's Warblers
coming to our feeders, mostly to suet and the Bark Butter that we schmear
over the tube feeder port holes. The warblers sit on the perches while
partaking of the butter. We also have a couple of Yellow-rumped coming, and
a few Ruby-crowned Kinglets.

In 2014, however, we had far more than the numbers this year, up to 20 at a
time. That year, the warblers were thick and one would "spy-hop" on one
side of the shrubbery, popping up to spy on human activity on the deck,
then another would do so from the other side, when I went out to reapply
the various foods they were after.
