I have encountered this bird, calling in this way at this location, several
times in the last 3 months or so. (I think it is the same bird each time.) Is
this call unusual? I don't think I have heard another SPTO make this "chip"
call. The quality is not great-- it is hand-held and there is a noisy creek
nearby as well as other bird(s) singing. You may have to turn up the volume and
watch the video to see when he is vocalizing. TIA for comments.
