Hi All,
Marty Cunningham and I took a jaunt to the Tillamook area today. We found
the Lark and Clay-colored Sparrows along Tone Rd fairly fast. We next
found the Harris Sparrow and DIckcissel along Boquist Rd, which took about
half an hour. The flock of sparrows moved from the shed area to the bridge
area where both target species were seen together. I placed seed at both
sites so as to keep them there a little longer. The 2 Cattle Egrets were
in the farm field at the Junc of Old and New Latimer Rds.
We did meet Ed McVicker and Paul Sullivan searching for all these birds as
well, and after we left Paul relayed he found a male Barrow's Goldeneye
near the crab dock of Garibaldi. Birding does not get much better......
