Hi all,
I found this dead goose on the spit path at Nehalem Bay State Park today -
a casualty of the recent storms I assume. A dark goose with black bill,
light breast and an obvious white wing patch all of which seem like a
confusing combination. Is this a juvenile blue morph Snow Goose? It seems
small in size overall.

P.S. I still have a Mountain Chickadee at my feeders in Manzanita/Nehalem
and at least 4 Rufous Hummingbirds (2 male and 2 female) sharing 3 feeders
with at least 3 Anna's Hummingbirds (2 female and 1 male - maybe 2 male).
