I am glad Philip got on the bird this afternoon, it certainly is being a
challenge.
I can add to behavior observations as when I first saw it this morning it
was out of the grasses and swimming about in a seemingly normal fashion.
When it got into the grasses I did not think it unusual. It staying
mostly hidden for several hours is curious and I understand the speculation
as to its relative health.
It was first found in the general area and seems to be staying close by.
