Mike, Thanks to your recent posts I added 4 new species to my Clatsop county
list today. WHITE PELICAN, RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, and
HARRIS' SPARROW. The sparrow and hawk were on Wireless Rd. The pelicans were
on Young's Bay. The gnatcatcher was east of your spruce tree toward the next
driveway on Svensen Is.
I spent much of an hour looking at Surfbirds and Black Turnstones at the cove
in Seaside, but didn't find a Rock Sandpiper.Paul Sullivan
