Varied thrush have lingered longer than usual under the feeders this year
in west Sisters.
My raptor route group had a great run. We experimented with hands free
calling and found that the second car was able to participate and Dominic
found our first ever Short-eared Owls. This might not be helpful in areas
with less cell coverage.
Got to see the Livermore road gyrfalcon last Saturday. Also had probable
sighting at extreme binocular range from Smithfield road near Meyers
looking west toward Perrydale road.
