While down in Eugene this weekend for both family reasons and today’s book
signing event at the Wild Birds Unlimited store, Dave and I saw the goose a
bit ago from the Bruce Road bridge location. It was asleep 99.9% of the time
but stuck it’s head out a few brief moments, though not long enough to get a
digiscoped pic of the bill.
A different oddity was a Cackler hybrid of some sort. I added some photos to
our eBird list of it.
