During a brief visit this afternoon at Pintail Marsh, we spotted 6 Tundra Swans
and 2 Trumpeter Swans (after careful consultation about field marks w/ Ankeny
regulars) . There were also a good number of Great Egrets, flyover Cacklers,
various waterfowl and a small flock of shorebirds. Eagle Marsh had one Greater
Yellowlegs and 250 Mallards on our brief stop going out.
