The ABA may consider the Mandarins "uncountable" but they're certainly wilder
than the Condors the ABA has quite arbitrarily deemed the contrary. I"m
confident many Mandarins observed between central California and southern
British Columbia are the offspring of multigenerational wild hatched ducks. Is
there currently one single wild hatched condor out there? Let alone a
multigenerational wild condor? One that has never been captured and chelated?
CBCs didn't count Starlings, Rock Doves, or House Sparrows for decades. I
believe Rock Dove got officially counted for the first time after l began
participating in CBCs in the late 60s. Does the ABA consider the Salish Sea
Mute Swans countable? Their population has been self sustaining and growing my
entire life.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

True I dunno, Tom. Some folks are flocking to see the Mandarin Ducks, just as
uncountable.Jamie SimmonsCorvallisOn Mon, Oct 18, 2021 at 7:26 PM Tom Crabtree
