Without doing any research…(dangerously), it gives me the impression of being,
or being a hybrid of, Hooded Warbler. Just thinking out loud….

Hello all
A couple days ago I noticed a strange warbler in my yard in the South Eugene
area, that I wasn't able to figure out. However yesterday I re found the bird
in my yard and get some photos, which I posted to the Lanebirds lister,
however still no ones been able to figure it out, and suggested I post here
on obol. The theory is that it's a very early Wilson's with very bizarre
plumage of a molt issue, or some kind of very weird hybrid.
Just looking for other people's thoughts. I will try and look for the bird
again today. Note: I played both Wilson's and Orange-crown calls when the
bird was present and it didn't react to either. <image2.JPG>
