It is fall going on winter, but today I heard a European Starling in Coburg
imitating a Western Wood-Pewee. They don't reserve this imitation for
springtime only, as has been suggested in this forum. Western Wood-Pewee was
repeated several times. Other imitations on today's mocklist included
Killdeer, Greater Yellowlegs, White-throated Sparrow, Red-winged Blackbird, and
Western Meadowlark.
