More excitement related to the influx of European starlings in our yard in
Jennings Lodge. We have a number of crows (we think they nest near us) and they
visit us daily. My husband just witnessed a mob of starlings around a crow,
whereupon the crow flew in and took a starling! Never have seen that before.
The crow pinned the starling to the ground, them carried it off. We just saw
the crow pecking the starling furiously on the ground nearby, and was joined by
another crow. Lunch, I guess!
