Seeing the comments about spring movement: I had YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS, 7 in
my suet for a couple of days, fewer today, one was a striking male AUDUBON'S.
Seemed to be an uptick from the two or three I had been seeing and wow were
they hungry!
RUFOUS H-BIRDS have showed up for the past two weeks at a rate of one or two a
day and not every day. I am loving the, as for us here, this has been a more
prolonged passage of them-past years might have a short couple of days and then
nothing.
Best bird today was a photogenic LINCOLN'S SPARROW that had a bit of millet on
the deck while I happened to be watching. Very infrequently detected bird here.
I have been posting photos of these and others to the Birding Oregon Facebook
page.
