Even though we still have snow on the ground, sunshine and warmer temps make
Today feel like spring for the first time this year.
Late morning, swallows arrived to our property-both Tree Swallows and
Violet-green Swallows have been circling and buzzing some of our bird boxes.
Such a happy sound to hear them calling!
Also 3 Turkey vultures have been circling the area. They have nested on a
rocky hill to the west of us for decades.
We still have about a dozen Varied Thrush that have been down for the
winter-I expect they will head up to the hills soon.
